The Walking Dead Internment Hershel

On the "Internment" episode of The Walking Dead, Scott Wilson, who plays Hershel Greene, carried the episode with his best performance yet on the series. During the episode, Hershel had to battle several walkers, as the sick area became overrun with walkers. On the Talking Dead, it was revealed that Scott Wilson did all his own stunts for the episode. While the real Scott Wilson has both of his legs, he is seventy-one years old, so it's still pretty impressive that he did his own stunts. Some of the stuntwork that Scott Wilson did can be seen on a Making Of Episode 405 The Walking Dead: Internment video from AMC. Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman said, "It's a little bit of super-Hershel in action here. He's taking on a great deal. I think he's handling it pretty well." "[Showrunner] Scott Gimple warned me and said it's going to be tough emotionally and physically on you," said Scott Wilson. "He was right, but it's been total fun to play on." "Scott has been…I mean I don't have the stamina that Scott has to do the work that he's done on this episode. It's crazy," said Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie Greene. "We didn't double at all. He did a great job," said stunt coordinator Russell Towery.
