Underlining Legendary’s commitment to authenticity, the same company responsible for creating much of the armor and weaponry for the film, Weta Workshop, was commissioned to create a number of consumer items for Weta’s Warcraft collection. Now fans get the opportunity to pre-order signature collectibles including Alliance Armor figures and weapons, and a statue of the orc character Orgrim.
"Weta Workshop has brought to Warcraft an uncompromising passion for artistry and quality,” said Richard Taylor, CEO and Co-Founder of Weta Workshop. “For the team here, it's been incredibly exciting to have helped make the world of Azeroth a reality, first through the creation of armor and weapons for the Alliance, and now through a range of quality collectables including jewelry, weapons, armor and figures made by the same artists who worked on the film."
Jakks Pacific will showcase a broad range of figures and role play items, giving BlizzCon fans a chance to view them ahead of their official launch at Toys “R” Us in March 2016. “Jakks Pacific is thrilled to be partnering with Legendary to help bring these iconic characters to life,” said John Blaney, EVP of Marketing at Jakks Pacific. “Our team worked closely with the filmmakers to create highly detailed figures and role play items for fans to collect. We are thrilled to debut the line to the most passionate Warcraft fans at BlizzCon 2015.”
