These Actors Are Reportedly Testing For Cyclops, Jean Grey & Storm In X-Men: Apocalypse

The Latino Review is reporting new casting rumors concerning the younger versions of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm, who are expected to appear in X-Men: Apocalypse.

According to the report, for the role of young Scott Summers, Fox is currently testing Kingsman's Taron Edgerton, If I Stay's Jamie Blackley, and Mud's Tye Sheridan.

Candidates for the role of Jean Grey are said to include Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner and Hanna's Saoirse Ronan.

For young Storm, the studio is looking to Alexandra Shipp, who played the lead role in Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B, and Zendaya Coleman, who is known for television roles on Shake It Up, Zapped, and K.C Undercover.

Fox seems to be expanded their search from the original list of candidates reported by Latino Review. Those initial candidates included Chloe Moretz, Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld for Jean Grey, and Ben Hardy, Charlie Rowe and Timothee Chalamet for Cyclops.
