Thor's Chris Hemsworth To Be Recognized As Best Global Actor At China's Huading Awards

Thor actor Chris Hemsworth and Naomi Watts will headline China's Huading Awards as the Best Global Actors.

The Huading Awards are China's leading entertainment awards show, recognizing the year's achievements in film, television, dance, theater, and music. Winners, or "honorees," are selected through fan votes and receive the chance to appear at the Awards' ceremony.

Selected by the Huading Awards' fans as the best actor and actress in the world, Hemsworth and Watts will appear live at the Awards show next week. The Thor actor is entering a busy year in the entertainment industry, with Avengers: Age of Ultron, Blackhat, and In the Heart of the Sea headlining his 2015 resume. Watts, a two-time Oscar nominee who recently starred in Birdman, will appear in the Divergent sequel Insurgent, While We're Young, and Demolition later this year.

The Huading Awards will be held in Macau, China, on January 18th.
