Transformers: Age of Extinction was the most valuable film of 2014, according to calculations made by Deadline.
The site's number crunchers estimate that the film netted a profit of roughly $250.155 million, edging out American Sniper, which profited $242.58 million.
Their list of 20 most valuable films includes other comics based tentpoles like Guardians of the Galaxy, Big Hero 6, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and X-Men: Days of Future Past.
