Transformers: Age of Extinction is estimated to have passed $200 at the domestic box office yesterday, according to Deadline.

Those numbers are estimates, but it will pass the landmark today if it didn't yesterday.

The film, on pace to become the top-grossing film of the year so far, is sitting on a worldwide haul of over $630 million in spite of a mountain of negative reviews. Recently, director Michael Bay became the second-highest-grossing director of all time in the U.S.

After opening huge two weeks ago, it took the #1 spot in a weak Independence Day weekend last week. This week's #1 movie, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, will open with around $70 million, compared to a bit less than $20 million for Transformers this weekend.
