If there was any doubt that there would be a trilogy of new Fast & Furious films and that Fast & Furious 8 was headed to New York, Vin Diesel cleared things up on Wednesday night on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Fallon asked if Diesel planned to do three more Fast & Furious movies, and Diesel replied, "A trilogy, yes."

Then, Fallon followed up by asking if Diesel knew where the next one was set yet, and Diesel yelled out, "New York, baby!"

Diesel went on to explain, "Something that people don't know is the first movie came from a Vibe article that was about street races in New York, and the director and producer at the time reset the whole movie in LA. But the Vibe article that the whole franchise was started from actually originated in New York. So, we're finally bringing it back home, baby!"

Fast & Furious 8 will be directed by F. Gary Gray and is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on April 14, 2017.
