Westworld: Episode 5 Contrapasso Images Released

Westworld Episode 5, Contrapasso will air this coming Sunday bringing us to the midpoint of the first season. After Contrapasso, Westworld only has 5 episodes left to unravel the sci-fi series' mind-boggling mysteries.

The first half of the freshman season already has our brains in a vice, we can only imagine what's next for Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Dr. Ford (Anthony Hopkins), William (Jimmi Simpson), The Man in Black (Ed Harris), and the rest of cast.

Dolores, William and Logan reach Pariah, a town built on decadence and transgression — and are recruited for a dangerous mission. The Man in Black meets an unlikely ally in his search to unlock the maze.

Created for television by Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Person of Interest) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice), both of whom are executive producing and writing, with Nolan also directing, the series was inspired by the 1973 motion picture Westworld, written and directed by Michael Crichton.

The episode was directed by Jonny Campbell, based on the story by Lisa Joy and Dominic Mitchell. The screenplay was penned by Lisa Joy.
