WrestleMania is coming to sunny Orlando, Florida once again.

The Orlando Sentinel reported the announcement late Monday night that next year, the WWE's annual event will take place on April 2 at Orlando's famous Citrus Bowl. This marks only the second occasion where the Show of Shows took place in Orlando, the first being WrestleMania XXIV where most notably Big Show fought Floyd "Money" Mayweather in 2008.

It was also the site of the Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair match where Michaels "retired" Flair. At the end of the match, Micahels mouthed the words "I'm sorry. I love you" before pinning the living legend after delivering Sweet Chin Music. It's one of the most memorable moments in WrestleMania history and one of the most emotional.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer commented about the announcement saying how colossal this is for Orlando.

"It's huge," he said. "We're a place that handles big, special events, and I think a lot of people don't really realize the enormity of having WrestleMania."

Dyer, along with Governor Rick Scott, Orange County mayor Teresa Jacobs and WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon are expected to be on hand this morning at the Citrus Bowl to make the formal announcement during a press event at 11 ET.

WrestleMania XXIV brought an estimated $51.5 million into the local economy, surpassing the projected $25M and generated $1.8 million in local tax revenue. The Central Florida Sports Commission reported that the event created jobs and brought approximately 60,000 visitors to the city.
