X-Men #1 First Look From Marvel Comics, Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel

Marvel Comics today has released a first look at Brian Wood and Olivier Coipel's X-Men #1, the much-anticipated all-female X-Men team that rounds out the first wave of Marvel NOW! first issues. In the issue, a team composed of Rogue, Storm, Jubilee, Kitty Pryde, Rachel Grey and Psyclocke come together  to take on an "ancient evil come back to Earth," from whom they're protecting an old enemy who shows up at the mansion seeking asylum. Meanwhile, Jubilee has come home, and she's brought with her an orphaned baby who might hold the key to the Earth's survival…or its destruction! With an imminent alien invasion and an eons-spanning war between brother and sister around the corner, Storm steps up and puts together a team to protect the child and stop a new threat that could destroy all life in the Marvel Universe!
