But FirstShowing.net is doing more than just pointing out the obvious, they claim to have a very detailed description of exactly what happens. According to their inside sources, the after the credits scene actually takes place in the past and revolves around a young Erik Lehnsherr aka Magneto, who is played by Michael Fassbender. Magneto is on the run from authorities, living in a ramshackle, desert house. He's eating dinner, but stops to go outside to use a well to get some water. Magneto sees something falling from the sky come crashing to Earth. When he goes to inspect the crash site, he comes across an alien form, who is described as "towering, terrifying, with a twisted metal face and dark pits for eyes." The alien form is Apocalypse, who says, "I have crossed rivers of time to find you." Magneto asks, "Who are you?" Apocalypse answers, "I am your future."Apocalypse then merges with Magneto, which creates an enormous energy blast and shockwaves. The blast levels everything for several miles. When Magneto sees the damage, he realizes what amount of power he now possesses, and he flashes a villainous grin. X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released in movie theaters on May 23, 2014.
