X-Men: Days of Future Past: Iceman Has a Beard!

Well, it might not actually make it into the film. But actor Shawn Ashmore has a beard, and it's front and center today on X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer's Twitter account as the director shared the image at left, which is apparently being used to help track Ashmore's face for the film's motion capture. Does that mean we'll see a newer, more modern interpretation of his full-body transformation--one that looks a little less...well, the less said about the other one, the better, right? In any event, Ashmore joins Sir Patrick Stewart in having been "spotlit" by Singer in prepping to go into active production on the highly-ancipated X-sequel, filming of which began yesterday. We'll see more as the week goes on, surely...
