Director Bryan Singer has been peppered the last few days with questions about which of the as-yet-unannounced original X-Men cast might appear in the forthcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past. So far, the answer seems to be "I don't know." That's what he told fans yesterday about Halle Berry returning as Storm, and today that's what reports have him saying about Alan Cumming returning as Nightcrawler. "I don't know. We'll see. You know ... we'll see," he told The Huffington Post. "I don't want to ... sometimes you don't want to say "yes" or "no" to something that may not be a "yes" or a "no," or anything. I haven't decided yet, a few things." Cumming, for his part, is likely willing to come back if the situation is right. "I haven't gotten the call. Someone told me that Nightcrawler doesn't appear in the story but I don't know, I think they would have called by now," the actor said in a December interview. "It was funny that film because I really like it and everyone really responded to Nightcrawler and enough time has elapsed that I would like to go back to it. Although then when I did that film it was sort of the start of this spate of superhero and comic books made into films so it felt a little more special then it does now. X2 was a really great film, not just as a comic book film. I think it's one of the films I'd been in that I think of as really good."
