X-Men Days Of Future Past Script

During an interview over the weekend, X-Men: Days of Future Past star James McAvoy confessed that he's finally read the script for the film. That's notable only because McAvoy has been so busy promoting other projects and recording Neverwhere episodes for BBC radio that a number of interviews over the last couple of months had seen him say that he had received the script but not yet read it. So what did he think? He tells film website I Am Rogue:

"It's great. It's really good and strong. I think fans will love it. I think people who have never seen any of the [previous] X-Men films before are going to be really into it. I think it's satisfying and giving people what they want, while at the same time being challenging and giving them something different, new, and unexpected." "Yeah, I can't wait to work with Michael again, Jennifer and Nick. It's going to be great, we got along so well the first time around. That'll be fun. Then also, getting to team up with Sir Patrick. I don't know if I get to work with Sir Ian, but it should be a real exciting time I think."

The film reportedly begins shooting next month with an eye on a Comic Con International panel before its July 18, 2014 release date.
