Xbox Having a DC Animated Sale, Free Copy of New Frontier

Microsoft has a very special deal for DC Comics fans.

The prices of all DC Animated Universe films are being slashed and this weekend Justice League: The New Frontier will be shown as part of the Xbox Video Free Movie Weekend, Reddit reports.

From now until midnight on Sunday, anyone with a Microsoft account can access the film for free. When accessed, the film will remain available for viewing for another 24 hours, and can be accessed from any device running Windows, or from the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One.

In the 1950s, a new generation of superheroes must join forces with the community's active veterans and a hostile US government to fight a menace to Earth.

New Frontier features an all-star cast which includes the voice talents of David Boreanaz, Neil Patrick Harris, Lucy Lawless, Kyle Maclachlan, Phil Morris, Kyra Sedgwick, Brooke Shields, and Jeremy Sisto.

The 2008 film is based on the Darwyn Cooke graphic novel of the same name.
