Little Orbit, a video game publisher best known for their original property Busy Scissors and the Warner Brothers-licensed Sherlock Holmes Mysteries, announced early this morning that they will be bringing DC Comics's Young Justice to the XBox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS and Playstation 3 in early 2013. With a comic from DC's all-ages line, new TV episodes returning on March 3 and a video game on the horizon, Young Justice has come far in just a couple of years, since it was a mostly-forgotten property with only a small number of hardcore fans of a brief comic run from the '90s. The show features Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis acting as a junior Justice League with official authorization from the elder heroes, and Young Justice: Legacy will hit early next year with an adventure set in the universe of the cartoon and in between its first two seasons. Series writers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti were on board to help Little Orbit with the story. In spite of having only six team members, it appears from the game's website that there will be 12 playable heroes. Is this a chance to see some Teen Titans or Justice Leaguers in video game action? Only time will tell. Little Orbit has promised more details to come soon, so keep your eyes on this space, where we'll keep you posted up until the game's release.
