Star Trek 50th Anniversary Original Cast Blu-Ray Collection Announced

A limited edition gift set collecting virtually the entire run of the original cast/crew of Star Trek is coming this September to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its first release. The Blu-ray collection includes the complete Star Trek: The Original Series, all six original crew movies, the animated series, and a new five-part documentary.

The Blu-ray package, officially called simply Star Trek 50th Anniversary TV and Movie Collection, will hit stores on September 6, 2016, just two days prior to the official 50th anniversary of the first episode of Star Trek airing in 1966. There's a staggering 30 total Blu-ray discs in the package, including all of the above plus another twenty hours (yes, 20) of bonus content. Collectible posters and a pin are included as well.
