After Anton Yelchin tragically passed away in a freak accident on June 19, many co-stars and fans of his have been paying homage to the Star Trek actor, including former co-star Mika Boorem.
Yelchin starred alongside Boorem in a 2001 film adaptation of Stephen King's Hearts In Atlantis as well as the crime thriller Along Came A Spider, a James Patterson adaptation. On Monday June 20, Boorem posted a touching clip from Hearts In Atlantis where she and and a young Anton Yelchin ride a ferris wheel together and share a first kiss.
Boorem captioned the touching post: "Deeply saddened by the early passing of a wonderful and loving person may you rest in peace Anton...My first kiss and first sweetheart. Forever in mine and everyone else's hearts."

Yelchin was killed in a tragic accident when his 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled backwards and pinned him against a brick mailbox pillar. He was on his way out of his San Fernando Valley home around 11 p.m. to meet with friends for a rehearsal when the accident occurred. He was later found around 1 a.m. the following morning when a friend came to check on him.
The coroner deduced that Yelchin's ultimate cause of death was traumatic asphyxia and that he likely died within a minute or two after being crushed by his car. Yelchin mistakenly believed he placed his car in park, before jumping out of the vehicle for some reason, when it rolled backwards towards him. The car that Yelchin was driving was part of a recall due to the very issue that caused his death. The makers of the Jeep Cherokee, Fiat Chrysler, will be conducting their own investigation as well as the authorities as to determine if they were at fault for Yelchin's death.
Other stars who have paid homage to the late actor include: Zoe Saldana, JJ Abrams, Zachary Quinto, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Hamill, and many others. Also, one fan creating an incredibly touching tribute to the late actor that went viral soon after the fan posted the image on Tumblr.
