ABC Releases Fall Premiere Dates

ABC has released its fall premiere dates on Tuesday for the 2016-2017 television season.

Several of the new shows coming to ABC network will be scheduled for premiere dates during the week of September 19, the day after ABC airs the 68th annual Emmy awards hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, according to Hollywood Reporter. New series including Kiefer Sutherland's Designated Survivor, the family comedy Speechless, and the legal soap Notorious are all slated for the week of September 19.

ABC will also stagger the premieres of the legal drama starring Hayley Atwell called Conviction, and the Katy Mixon comedy American Housewife. Conviction will air on Monday October 3, at 10 p.m. while American Housewife will launch on Tuesday October 11, at 8:30 p.m.

The next installment of Dancing With The Stars is set to swing in a week early on Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.
