After being the subject of news and rumors of late, WWE manager and advocate Paul Heyman finally signed a contract just hours before "Monday Night RAW." Heyman had not been under contract with the WWE for some time now, so in order to come back, he would need to sign something.

Heyman has been the manager for Brock Lesnar, and with his upcoming match against Randy Orton, many wondered if The Beast was going to have to speak for himself at SummerSlam. Some believed that the contract Heyman signed was only for the Brock Lesnar date only.

However, according to Ringside News, Paul Heyman did indeed sign a new contract with the WWE. No word yet on how long the deal is for or regarding how much he will be making.

The re-signing of Paul Heyman is huge news for the WWE considering Heyman will be able to sell the SummerSlam main event with Lesnar and Orton better than either of the wrestlers can on their own. As a former promoter, Heyman knows how to sell a pro-wrestling match as well as anyone. According to the Inquisitr, Heyman operates a marketing business in addition to his WWE career, which means that he literally sells things to people for a living.

Lesnar should also be thrilled that Heyman is returning to hype his matches because people may just forget about how he tested positive for an illegal substance in drug testing for his UFC fight against Mark Hunt. With Heyman's help, Lesnar will be able to take the heel role back on, whereas before, the WWE attempted to market Brock almost like the top babyface with his "Suplex City" merchandise.

Are you excited to see manager and promoter Paul Heyman return to the WWE?
