Harry Potter author JK Rowling has announced that she will be doing three more Hogwarts-themed books. Yes, you read that correctly.

While they won't technically be Harry Potter books, they will still revolve around the magical world in which the boy who lived was taught his wizarding skills.

The online novellas will be titled Short Stories From Hogwarts: Power, Politics And Pesky Poltergeists; Short Stories From Hogwarts: Heroism, Hardship And Dangerous Hobbies and Hogwarts: An Incomplete And Unreliable Guide. According to Pottermore, the books will be available as e-books through the "Pottermore Presents" series.

The first book will be tackling the sinister side of magic, and will offer a "glimpse into the darker side of the wizarding world, revealing the ruthless roots of Professor Umbridge, the lowdown on the Ministers for Magic and the history of the wizarding prison Azkaban," according to Pottermore. Also, the story will explore the relationship between Horace Slughorn and Tom Riddle before he became Voldemort, which sounds quite intriguing.

The second book will be sure to excite Potter fans as the story will revolve around Professor Minerva McGonagall and, Remus Lupin. Also, McGonagall's role in the second wizarding war will be detailed and explored.

The third and final book is supposed to "bring Hogwarts to life." The tale is supposed to unveil the secrets of the castle, and the school itself.

"The e-books will delight readers as they take them beyond the Harry Potter stories and deeper into the wizarding world," Susain L Jurevics, CEO of Pottermore stated. "JK Rowling's writing in these collections reveal intricate details of her characters' lives, their histories, as well as her inspiration."

While these stories may not be the Harry Potter stories that we have all been waiting for, they are at least something that will give us all a chance to take another voyage to Hogwarts in JK Rowlings' insanely imaginative writing.

The books are currently available to order at Pottermore, and will be published on September 6.
