This Woman Accused Her Ex-Fiance Of Abusing Her, Forgot They Had Home Surveillance

The legal battle between a millionaire and his ex-fiancé took a strange turn when a newly released video shows the woman pitching a fit while beating herself up.

Millionaire, Scott Mitchell, accused his wife, Mary Hunt, of stealing jewelry. Hunt claimed that her husband was abusive, however, she forgot that their home had surveillance video.

Mitchell's attorney, Todd Foster, stated, "The explanation for the black eye is now very different." Hunt claimed the black eye was given to her by an abusive Mitchell, according to Fox 29.

On June 13, Hunt described the alleged abuse to FOX. "There were so many times when I wanted to give up, but I couldn't do it anymore and I think about how much he would have wanted this," Hunt explained.

The accusations of abuse began after a nasty breakup where Mitchell believed that Hunt stole millions of dollars worth of diamonds, gold, and jewels from his safe. Hunt believed that she was set up by Mitchell.

Lawyer Todd Foster maintains that the bumps and bruises were self-inflicted by Hunt.

"There is no evidence that he ever beat her," Foster stated. "This video now demonstrates that she is striking herself in the same area of the face and head that they allege Scott struck her."

While the surveillance footage shows Hunt beating herself up, there is no video of the alleged robbery that has surfaced as of yet. Foster believes that Hunt's attorneys may have analyzed the home surveillance video that may show Hunt stealing the jewelry and other expensive items.
