The members of Tenacios D, and creators of the rock band called Valyrian Steel, are celebrating Jon Snow's victory to rule the "GOT Party" with a brand new tune in his honor.

Kyle Glass, John Konesky, and John Spiker of the comedy rock group shared the song titled "Ode to Jon Snow" on SoundCloud, which has the cheerful flute riffs reminiscent of medieval festival.

The Game of Thrones election to crown a leader of the party was created in order to mark the release of the show's season 6 release on digital platforms. All through the month of August, fans of the HBO series had the chance to vote between four nominees, each of whom had their own running mates and platforms. The candidates were Jon Snow with Lyanna Mormont, Daenerys Targaryen with Tyrion Lannister, Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish with Sansa Stark, and Cersei Lannister with Qyburn.

In total, over 1.5 million votes were cast. Snow and Mormont racked up 35% of the vote narrowly beating out Khaleesi and Tyrion, who won 32%. Coming in at third place, Littlefinger and Sansa made the competition a three-way race to the finish by pulling in 31% of all votes while leaving Cersei Lannister and Qyburn lagging far behind with an anemic campaign that garnered only 2% of the vote.

GoTParty.com wrote regarding the election:

"From the Reach to the Stormlands, the Wall to the Arbor — we, the GOT, demand new choices in leadership. The candidates have called their banners. Cast your vote to pick your side in the great wars to come. ... Visit the site daily during the month of August to cast your vote for the GOT Party candidate. On September 1st, 2016, we will unveil the official Party nominee and running mate."
