Stranger Things' Millie Bobby Brown Sings Her Starbucks Order

Stranger Things, the streaming television series inspired by genre films of the 1980s, has been a huge hit for Netflix.

A large part of Stranger Things’ success comes, of course, from its masterful synthesis of all the things that made the works of Stephen King, John Carpenter, and Steven Spielberg during that era so great. Another part of its success is a breakout performance by 12-year-old British actress Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, the psychic and telekinetic child who escaped from the Hawkins Laboratory where she was being experimented on.

Since seeing her profile rise thanks to Stranger Things, Brown has shown off some of her other skills on social media and at various events, including impersonations, freestyle rapping, and a strong singing voice.

For example, here’s Brown singing her Starbucks order to the tune of Adele’s “Hello.” The Starbucks worker doesn’t seem to love being serenaded over the intercom. Brown becomes bashful after realizing that she’s made a mistake, as you might expect a 12-year-old to do, though she does throw in a “Hello from the Upside-Down” for Stranger Things fans.
