Wes Anderson Announces New Film In Very Wes Anderson Way

With only nine feature films to his name, Wes Anderson has become one of the most unique filmmakers of his time. His surreal and innocent style combined with his quirky sense of humor have given us films like The Grand Budapest Hotel, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and The Royal Tenenbaums. Anderson released a video teasing what's to come from his next film, Isle of Dogs, and it's a video only someone like he could get away with.

The film will be a return to the world of animation and has plenty of fantastic actors lending their voices. Some of the announced cast are Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Bob Balaban, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, F. Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama, Koyu Rankin, Courtney B. Vance, Liev Schreiber and Yoko Ono.

There's plenty of Anderson regulars in there, like Murray, Swinton, and Balaban, and newcomers Ono and Schreiber. If the title alone wasn't enough to get you excited, that cast will surely do it.
