prevnextCast
The big eye-raising detail of Cult of Chucky is that it will bring back a lot of cast members from past installments of the franchise. As always, Brad Dourif will voice Chucky, but other returning cast members will include:
- Fiona Dourif (Curse of Chucky)
- Jennifer Tilly (Bride of Chucky, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky)
- Alex Vincent (Child's Play 1 - 3, Curse of Chucky)
Story
Cult of Chucky's story will reportedly pick up with Nica (Fiona Dourif) in an insane asylum, convinced that she is responsible for her family's murder in Curse of Chucky, not a possessed doll.
However, when Nica's psychiatrist tries to bring in a "Good Guy" doll to push her therapy, unexplained murders begin to occur around the asylum. As Nica begins to realize she's not crazy, she joins forces with Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent), who must battle Chucky's bride Tiffany on the outside, while Nica presumably faces Chucky (and other maniacs?) within the Asylum walls.
Cult of Chucky will be released in time for Halloween 2017.
