It looks like fans of the critically-acclaimed Game of Thrones can head back to Westoros as the series announced the sixth season will start April 24th.

With the finale last season leaving Jon Snow's fate a mystery, it's starting to look like everybody's favorite bastard son who knows nothing could possibly be back, as well as his half-brother, Bran. Details are light on the upcoming season, though star Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell, let loose a possible spoiler regarding filming location earlier this week.

Recent additions to the cast are Oscar nominee Max Von Sydow, Freddie Stroma (Pitch Perfect), and Ian McShane, but only in a single episode, reports Variety. McShane doesn't mention his character by name, but only that he will be "responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you'[d] never going to see again". With the dozens of characters that have passed through and have fallen, the guessing game could go on for weeks.

So, Game of Thrones fans, are you ready for the show's return, or are you hesitant as this is where the showrunners start creating new material? Let us know in the comments!
