Lobo Movie

Those looking forward to seeing Lobo in space on the big screen might be out of luck. A possible logline for the Lobo movie has been published by It's On the Grid. According to the site, "Lobo, a powerful alien bounty hunter, lands on Earth in search of four fugitives who are bent on wreaking havoc." Now, we still might get to see a little bit of Lobo in space in the beginning, but if this description is correct, then it sounds like the majority of the movie will be set on earth. While this information is of course unconfirmed, it certainly sounds legit. Setting a movie in space can mean big bucks in special effects, and Warner Bros. might not be willing to take that sort of risk on a lesser known DC Comics character, especially considering that Jonah Hex and Green Lantern didn't exactly put up Batman-size numbers. The other information listed by the site matches up with what has previously been reported. Joel Silver and Akiva Goldsman are producing Lobo, while Don Payne has written a script. Dwayne Johnson is listed as an actor for the film, and The Rock recently confirmed via twitter that he was in talks to play the lead role in a Lobo movie. It's starting to look more and more like Lobo could be the next DC Comics movie from Warner Bros. to make it to the big screen. There have also been rumors that Lobo could be part of a Justice League movie, which appears to be farther down the pipeline for Warner Bros.
