If you've ever wanted to see the Power Rangers take on Arnold Schwarzenegger, this new clip is just for you.
Okay, well, not Arnold exactly, just a monster that is clearly inspired by him. To be honest, it's more like an impression of Hans and Franz doing their impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger, but you clearly get the point.
In any case, the newest clip from Power Rangers Ninja Steel is titled "Ace and the Race", titled fittingly so thanks to the athlete nature of its villain. It turns out this newest monster challenged the Rangers to a race and is even styled after a tennis shoe, with laces on its arms, chest, and ponytail.
As Calvin surprisingly discovers, the other Rangers have fallen to the new creation, turning them into golden trophies. The final two remaining are Brody (the Red Ranger) and Levi (the Gold Ranger), but both seem to be under a spell that makes them ultra-competitive. It's up to Calvin to balance the odds and break the spell, hopefully freeing the other Rangers in the process.
Seriously though, that accent is nuts, and the overall design is a bit insane too. It's like Arnold meets the hair style of Steven Seagal with the color scheme of Jordache. Nostalgia overload a bit right?
You can view the new clip in the video above.
It makes sense that the following episode would feature the duo of Brody and Levi, as fans were given a huge twist in the last episode. Spoilers incoming for Family Fusion, so if you haven't watched it yet you've been warned.
It is revealed that Aiden is not Brody's brother as previously believed, but an undercover android. After his defeat, Levi is hit with a series of confusing memories but there isn't any time to figure it out, as Ripcon is attacking the city.
After the Rangers take down the villain once again, Brody performs his family song at the talent show. Levi's memories start flooding in after he hears the song, and he remembers that he is, in fact, Brody's brother Aiden. It is revealed that he was kidnapped and given false memories, and his were given to the false Aiden.
Get ready to see much more of the brotherly duo in future episodes.
Power Rangers: Ninja Steel airs on Nickelodeon on Saturdays at 9 am.
