WizKids Games has announced the Star Trek: Attack Wing - Federation vs. Klingons Starter Set. Set for release in October, the starter set pits the Federation against some of their oldest foes.
The new starter set for WizKid's space combat game includes all of the items necessary for two players to begin playing the game. The set includes an updated rulebook and new paint schemes for some of Star Trek: Attack Wing's most popular ships.
The Star Trek: Attack Wing – Federation vs. Klingons Starter Set includes four pre-painted plastic model ships: The U.S.S. Enterprise-D, the U.S.S. Sutherland, K’m’pec’s Vor’cha Class attack cruiser, and the I.K.S.
Also releasing in October is the fourth wave of Star Trek: Attack Wing Card Packs. In November, WizKids will release a new Faction Pack featuring independent ships from the Star Trek universe. This is part of WizKids ongoing effort to give Star Trek: Attack Wing a soft reboot of a sort, infusing new energy into the game, bolstering local store play, and attracting new players.
