Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is still two weeks away, but that doesn't mean it's too early to be thinking about - and talking about Star Wars: Episode VIII. The next movie in the Skywalker Saga is a year and two weeks away, continuing the story from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the first movie in a sequel trilogy. Returning from that cast is nearly everyone, including Daisy Ridley as Rey, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, and Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma (not to mention longtime returnees like Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and Carrie Fisher as Leia).

Well, Gwendoline Christie knows that secrecy is part of the gig, in both of her current roles. As Brienne of Tarth on Game of Thrones, she has to remain tight-lipped for an entire season. in the case of the Star Wars movies, she has been more than a little nervous to ever discuss the films, frequently chuckling and glancing away when asked.

It sounds like that was the case when EW recently caught up with the actress, asking her for any teases about Star Wars: Episode VIII, which promptly earned them a simple "No." However, Christie elaborated, "I don't think anyone's going to be disappointed." They report that after saying that, her eyes widened and her lips snapped shut.

Of course, it's not like an actress in a film is going to say the opposite, but it's always good to hear confidence from the stars of these movies. Episode VIII is a long way away despite wrapping principal photography over the summer, so we have plenty of time for more substantial teases across the next year.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is written and directed by Rian Johnson, continuing the saga films. Star Wars expands their universe with Rogue One, the first of their new standalone movies that take place without a focus on anyone named Skywalker.
