Today, the world was brought one step closer to the eventual premiere of Star Wars: Episode VIII. Or, should I say, Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Not long ago, Lucasfilm revealed the much-anticipated name of the film, and fans promptly freaked out. Millions took to Twitter to share their joy over the news, but one Star Wars starlet went rogue on Facebook about the affair. And, now, fans get to take a moment and laugh about Daisy Ridley and her fondness for memes.

Over on Facebook, Daisy Ridley's official page posted a meme of the actress made by a netizen known as @heroeslab. The compilation image shows Ridley gradually getting more excited as the logo for The Last Jedi zooms in as well. By the end, the British native looks more than excited, and it seems like Ridley herself approves of the hilarious meme.
"Meme game so strong today," she captioned the photo. Of course, Ridley ended her brief message with two appropriate hashtags: "The Last Jedi" and "YOUWHAT!!
Ridley is not the only star who has react to the title revelation. Mark Hamill was finally able to talk about the name during an interview with AP after the news broke.
"He told me that when we were making the movie and I said, 'Don't tell me these things. I talk in my sleep,'" Hamill explained. "They have us so jacked up with paranoia over leaks. But that's the way of the world. It's funny 'cause back when we were making the original nobody cared."
"It's got a real samurai [feel]," he continued. "It's straightforward and minimalist, and I like that."
