It's a long journey one must undergo to become a Jedi, and you don't get there without containing the ability to overcome fear.

In Star Wars #28, an ominous cave is the source of this great fear, and while his companion might not share his desire for answers, Jedi Master Yoda doesn't back away from a potential battle. It isn't that he feels impervious either, but more so that even if he dies, at least one more mystery will be solved, and another wrong righted.
