Spoilers ahead: a beloved Star Wars character will make their Funko Pop debut in the latest Star Wars Smuggler's Bounty box.

The Smuggler's Bounty JEDI box will include an exclusive Obi-Wan Kenobi Pop as seen in Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith. The Jedi Master has been depicted in Pop form before, but as the elder Obi-Wan as seen in Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope (where he was depicted by Sir Alec Guinness). That figure, released in 2011, was retired before being re-released in 2015.

The JEDI box is the first time the younger Obi-Wan has been represented in Pop form, as depicted by Ewan McGregor. The exclusive Pop is only available to Smuggler's Bounty subscribers, with the JEDI promotion ending on September 15.

The arrival of Prequel Trilogy Obi-Wan is timely: just last month, that long-rumored Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone movie was confirmed to be in development by Disney and Lucasfilm. Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Hours) is reportedly in talks to direct. McGregor's involvement has yet to be confirmed, but can be expected — he's one of the most popular elements of George Lucas' trio of Star Wars prequels, which ran from 1999 — 2005.

"I've always thought there was a story to tell between my last one and Alec Guinness' first one. It would be fun to film that story now I'm older," McGregor said in 2016. "I'd be the right age. I'm forty-five, Alec Guinness was what, sixty? I could do two of them!" In April of this year, McGregor spoke again on the potential movie, saying, "There's no official offer, and I haven't met them about it or anything." But, he added, "I've always said that I'd be happy to do it if they wanted to do it. It would be a good segue between the last episode of the prequels and the new episodes.

In May, before we knew the film was in development, McGregor shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that he would "be happy to do" an Obi-wan movie. The Scottish actor explained he's not desperate for work, but would simply love the opportunity to return to the role. McGregor recently appeared in Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast as Lumierre, and will team with the studio again as a grown-up Christopher Robin in a live-action Winnie the Pooh adaptation. With McGregor's frequent association with Disney and a willingness to return to the role — he also recorded a brief line of dialogue as Obi-Wan for Star Wars: The Force Awakens — fans should expect the actor to make an eventual return as the beloved Jedi when his standalone movie drops.

Meanwhile, Star Wars: The Last Jedi — the eighth episode of the saga — opens December 15.
