Porgs won't make their onscreen debut until Star Wars: The Last Jedi next month, but the adorable creatures are already a hit with fans (and merchandisers). The internet has been collectively freaking out over the birdlike creatures for months, but we know little about them other than the fact that Porgs are food and they inhabit Ahch-To, the same island where the exiled Luke Skywalker hid himself away.

The Last Jedi writer-director Rian Johnson revealed more about the Porgs on Twitter, including the strange name for a group of Porgs.

Pablo Hidalgo, who works to maintain official Star Wars canon for Lucasfilm, reveals baby Porgs are "Porglets," while Johnson chimed in to announce a group of Porgs is known as a "murder." The image below, caught by a fan on the back of a Porg toy, shows your first look at a murder of Porgs. (Sorry, fans not on the Porg bandwagon: it's not that kind of Porg murder.)
