This is a rumor that originated on Reddit, so please take it with a bag or two of salt, but it could be interesting. Star Wars: Episode VIII, like most productions under the Disney umbrella, is a heavily guarded secret. But it needs staff to make the film, and a redditor calling himself “Bothan-Spy” (get it?) says he’s been talking to one or more of them.

The rumor is,Kylo Ren arrives atAhch-To (which he misspells the first time), the site of the first Jedi Temple (already confirmed by Lucasfilm months ago, but he says he confirmed it a couple weeks ago – just establishing the credibility or lack thereof here). Ren, Luke Skywalker, and Rey have a chat inside the Ahch-To hut seen in spy pictures of the set.
“A few weeks ago they blew up– specifically, blew apart– an Ahch-To hut. According to my source, Kylo and Rey have a conversation that Luke does not like. Luke tries to stop them. Luke gets angry… and the whole hut they are in disintegrates (re: ‘blows up’). My source did not specify as to the exact cause of the disintegration, but based on the info I believe Luke accidentally (or perhaps even purposely) does so using the Force.)”
So… the actual Luke part of the rumor, the poster flat-out admits he’s making up/speculating. The only actual information that even he got from his source: the hut on Ahch-To blew up after Kylo Ren, Rey, and Luke were inside. But even that can only be called a rumor. Fans have taken to Reddit to flat-out make things up, including entire script “leaks,” scene descriptions of entire movies that never take place, and more.
