The Walking Dead Is Now On Snapchat

The most popular show on cable has officially joined one of the most popular new social media platforms: Snapchat.

The official The Walking Dead Twitter account (the account associated with comic book) revealed the comic and TV series' Snapchat account earlier today. To add the account and follow its updates, open Snapchat and take a picture of the Snapcode in the Tweet embedded below.

The account will likely see messages from the cast and crew of The Walking Dead, as well as writers behind other Skybound properties as indicated by the announcement tweet.

There have been no posts to the account's Snap Story yet but with San Diego Comic Con right around the corner, we're expecting some activity in the coming weeks.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October. The first look at season 7 will drop July 22 during The Walking Dead's San Diego Comic Con panel. A new (fantastic) issue of The Walking Dead comic hit shelves today.
