"It's a reset on The Walking Dead world," says Jeffrey Dean Morgan. "It's f—ing Negan's world now."

The actor is completely right. The world of The Walking Dead belongs to the man with the bat now. Not only has the power shifted to him in the television series but the actor has become the most iconic character on the show following his only 10-minute debut in the season six finale.

Going forward, though, we are only going to see more of Morgan's Negan. A lot more. And we may not be ready for it.

"What you're going to see in the first half of this season is Negan wreaking havoc," says Morgan. "And some of your characters that you've grown to love are not going to be on the show anymore, and it's going to end badly for them. It's going to be a whole new beginning for The Walking Dead. Really, we've taken the show and just flipped it upside down. It's a different show now. It's going to have a different feeling. You're going to see your favorite characters in a position that they've never been in before, which is super vulnerable and victimized."

Negan isn't the only character making his impact on season 7. King Ezekiel and his pet tiger Shiva were confirmed to appear the coming episodes when the season 7 trailer debuted at Comic Con over the weekend, revealing Khary Payton in the extravagant role.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season October 23 at 9 PM ET on AMC. For complete coverage, insider info, and more all season long, be sure to follow me on Twitter @BrandonDavisBD and check out The Walking Dead on ComicBook.com on Facebook.
