The Walking Dead Episode 4 & 5 Titles And Plot Synopses Revealed

The season seven premeire of The Walking Dead was as equally jarring as it was emotional. Every second of the episode shocked audiences, and the deaths of Glenn and Abraham rocked fans to their core.

Since that episode, we haven't had another glimpse of Rick and the gang. The following episode focused on Carol, Morgan, and Ezekiel, and this coming week will give us a deeper look into the Sanctuary. Sure, we will get a deeper look into Negan and what he's done with Daryl, but it will still be another week before we see the group again.

Thankfully, DirecTV confirmed that we won't have to wait any longer than that.

On their channel guides, the satellite cable service revealed the titles and plot synopses for the fourth and fifth episodes of this season. They don't give away much, but it's enough to give us an idea of who we will see and what may be going on.

Let's start with Episode 4, 'Service'.

"The remaining members of the group try to keep it together in Alexandria; they receive a sobering visit."

This description most likely means that Negan will make a surprise visit to Alexandria. In the comics, he shocked Rick by coming over extremely early, and taking half of everything they have. The episode title adds to this notion, as Rick and the people of Alexandria will be serving Negan for the foreseeable future.

The guide also tells us the episode will be an hour and a half in length, instead of just 60 minutes.

Episode 5 is titled, 'Go Getters'.

"Saddled with grief and surrounded by enemies, members of the group try to find safety at the Hilltop before it's too late."

This description tells us a couple of things. First, this confirms we will be returning to Hilltop. The home of Jesus and Gregory was only seen briefly last season, but the community plays a huge role in the story going forward. This is also the only safe place that houses a doctor. Maggie was trying to get to Hilltop, so we could find out more about her pregnancy in this episode.

This synopsis also teases that the group may be forced out Alexandria - at least for the time being. The fact that they are seeking safety outside their own walls spells trouble for our favorite characters.

The next episode of The Walking Dead will air Sunday, November 6 on AMC at 9pm ET.
