Audible and Pottermore have tapped The Walking Dead leading man Andrew Lincoln to narrate Quidditch Through the Ages, the newest Hogwarts Library audiobook. EW broke the news.

Published in 2001 by Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling (as Kennilworthy Whisp), Quidditch Through the Ages features commentary from notable Quidditch player Ginny Potter and witch gossipist Rita Skeeter.

Its March 15 release date marks the first time the book is available as a digital audiobook.

Quidditch Through the Ages charts the magical game's history, from its early origins in the medieval mists on Queerditch Marsh to the modern-day sport loved by so many wizard and Muggle families around the world. With comprehensive coverage of famous Quidditch teams, the most common fouls, the development of racing brooms, and much more, QTTA is a sporting bible for Harry Potter fans and lovers of the game.

"The Wizarding World is one that I always wanted to get the chance to step into," Lincoln said in a statement.

"What makes this project so special, is not only that it allowed me opportunities to create something my kids love and enjoy, but it also supports great causes, like Comic Relief and Lumos."

"We are thrilled to offer Audible listeners a brilliant performance of yet another essential component of J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World and bring this richly imagined universe to life through Lincoln's narration and the highly detailed sound design," added Audible EVP and publisher Beth Anderson.

A portion of the audiobook's proceeds will be donated by Pottermore benefiting Comic Relief, a major UK-based charity striving towards a world free of poverty, and Lumos, an international charitable organization founded by Rowling and promoting an end to the institutionalization of children worldwide.

During an October appearance on live Walking Dead aftershow Talking Dead, Lincoln was asked what life might have been like had he never stepped into the role of apocalypse leader Rick Grimes — saying he might have made his way into Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings franchise.

"Dave Morrissey and I... we used to sort of joke that we were the only actors in British Equity that hadn't been in the Harry Potter franchise, so maybe I would have been wizarding about Hogwarts or hobbit-ing about Middle Earth," Lincoln said, adding he "always fancied" the idea of appearing in a Star Wars movie.

Warner Bros. will release the next installment out of Rowling's Wizarding World, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, November 16.

The Walking Dead returns Sunday, February 25 on AMC.
