Among the characters set to grow in the eighth season of The Walking Dead is Enid, as she will eagerly become a part of the action in the All Out War arc due up on the AMC series.

During a visit to the set of The Walking Dead's 100th episode, ComicBook.com heard from 18-year-old actress Katelyn Nacon who has played Enid for a few years now. The character has dealt with a loss since before fans of The Walking Dead met her when the show journeyed to Alexandria, having said goodbye to her parents early on and potential adoptive father Glenn in Season 7.

Now, she's found her place in the world and is ready to reclaim what is right in the world with Rick and company.

"Well, as we've seen in past seasons, she's definitely started to get a hold of herself," Nacon said. "When we were introduced with her and everything and we saw her backstory and everything, it was very hard for her to cope with it, and then she met Glenn and Maggie and it started to make her a bit of a stronger person and we started to see her kind of recruit people in the Hilltop, so I definitely hope to see that go further on in this season, for sure."

The character who was once eager to leave the Alexandria Safe-Zone and its ally communities in favor of a solo show on the road might finally feel comfortable calling these places home.

"She's probably here to stay, especially with her connection with Maggie," Nacon said. "At least that's what I hope... I hope she's not going to escape everywhere."

During an interview which will debut on ComicBook Now this Thursday at 7 pm ET, Nacon told ComicBook.com exclusively that Enid has "integrated into the group." For a preview of the interview with Katelyn Nacon, check out the video above!
