Happy Birthday Steven Yeun!
It's been a busy couple of months for former Walking Dead star Steven Yeun, but it seems like things have been pretty positive as well. After his death on The Walking Dead aired, Yeun married his longtime girlfriend Joana Park. Soon after their wedding, the couple revealed that they were expecting their first child together.
Now, in the midst of all the good news, Yeun is turning 33.
Steven Yeun starred on The Walking Dead for the first six seasons of the show. Yeun's character - Glenn Rhee - was one of the most beloved characters of the series. His need to always do what was right helped to separate him from the rest of the survivors.
In the show's second season, Glenn was given a love interest in the form of Maggie - played by Lauren Cohan. Their relationship became a key part of The Walking Dead for the rest of Glenn's time on the show. In the season seven premiere, Glenn was killed by Negan.
Yeun hasn't appeared in many other projects as of late, mainly because of his commitment to The Walking Dead. He did, however, have a role in the 2014 film I, Origins. Yeun also lent his voice to the animated series Voltron on Netflix.
While the film hasn't been released yet, Yeun will be starring in another adaptation of a popular Image comic. Chew was given an animated adaptation and Steven Yeun was nabbed to voice the lead character, Tony Chu. The film has been delayed a couple of times, however, due to the death of Robin Williams, who was set to co-star.
Have a Happy Birthday Steven!
