Jeffrey Dean Morgan recreated a Walking Dead comic book cover with a fan at Walker Stalker Con over the weekend.

Morgan, who plays Negan on the AMC show, posed with Walking Dead fan Megan Dunn for a photo op which she had prepared an Alpha cosplay for. The pose, however, is where the tremendous amount of epic comes into play. Morgan held Dunn is his arms, posing for the photo as he holds her and the two look into each other's eyes. It was Negan and Alpha, as they appeared on the cover of The Walking Dead issue #156, leading into the Whisperer War.

Check out Dunn's post of the photo from Instagram below.

The convention was held in Portland, Oregon in conjuction with the Heroes & Villains FanFast. Coming up, Walker Stalker Con is gearing up for the Walker Stalker Cruise which sets sail from New Orleans to Mexico with Morgan and more Walking Dead stars on board.

In addition to the star at Walker Stalker Con events, the fans get some spotlight of their own. Dunn, for example, put weeks of working into creating her cosplay to appear as Whisperer leader Alpha for the events. Check out the photo of her finished costume as posted to Instagram below!

The Walking Dead comic's New World Order story arc continues in issue #176, set to release in February. The Walking Dead TV series returns for the second half of its eighth season on February 25, 2018 on AMC. For complete coverage and insider info all year long, follow @BrandonDavisBD on Twitter.
