Prior to the end of the world, Rick Grimes had a (mostly) happy family and a cozy house outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Most of the times we saw the house on The Walking Dead, it was a bit beaten down and unkept as a result of the undead roaming the Earth but it is, in fact, a quite nice and recently renovated home.

That home is now available to buy.

The house used as the Grimes family's in The Walking Dead is actually well over 100 years old. Being built in 1897, it features two working fireplaces, vintage features like the claw-foot tub, heart-pine floors, and original millwork. Most of the bones were saved in the renovation. It also features a beautiful back deck accessed via two sets of French doors.

The asking price of the house is $659,000. It is 2,156 square feet.

The sprawling front porch will make for great Halloween tributes to The Walking Dead (or viewing parties on Sunday nights). The house was first featured on The Walking Dead back in 2010 and seen mostly post-apocalypse but was also used in flashback sequences showing interactions between Rick and his wife Lori.

The Walking Dead will return for its seventh season in October.
