The Walking Dead: Credible And Horrifying New Clue About Who Negan Killed

Just yesterday, the buzz surrounding The Walking Dead's Season 7 premiere murder scene claimed that Negan had killed Maggie. Fans largely speculated that they saw an engagement ring among the remains of someone's skull, saying Glenn's wife had her head beaten in by Negan despite raising her hands in an attempt to soften the blow.

Now, that same object amongst the blood and guts is being called something else.

Rather than an engagement ring, some viewers are seeing the remains of Hershel's pocket watch which was given to Glenn as more or less a blessing to look after his daughter.

In The Walking Dead comics, Glenn was the unlucky victim of Negan's vicious game of eeny-meeny-miny-moe. Issue #100 is easily the best known single issue of the series as a result. The TV show has followed suit in making Negan's infamous introduction the most iconic of the series but did so by creatiny a cultural event of fans asking one another, "Who do you think Negan killed?"

If that is, in fact Hershel's pocket watch or an engagement ring, one has to wonder why AMC would let such a clue slip through the cracks just two weeks prior to airing its single biggest episode ever. The possibility remains that the object in question is simply a piece of someone's skull and with ten victims still eligible of meeting Lucille's business end, it's not time to go and bet Hershel's farm on who it was just yet.
