Ever since Abraham and Glenn were killed in the season seven premiere of The Walking Dead, certain characters have focused on getting over - and getting revenge on - their tragic deaths.
We've seen Maggie doing everything in her power to live out Glenn's legacy over the course of the last few episodes. She continues to fight for what's right, and stand up for what she believes in. Maggie is fully embodying Glenn every chance she gets.
With Sasha, it's been a little more difficult to see how she's honoring Abraham. The two characters had a newly-formed love just before he died, but it was a strong one.
Sasha aims to live out Abraham's legacy in a much different way than Maggie. She still tries to live like her man would, but the two guys were much different people.
Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha on the show, told fans exactly how the character honors Abraham everyday. After a fan asked her about the relationship, she answered right away.

This explains why Sasha is so hell-bent on getting to Negan. Not only does she want to avenge Abraham's death, but she knows exactly what he would be doing if he was alive. He would sacrifice himself to save everyone else, and that's what she plans to do.
This statement aligns with the theories that many fans have focused on, regarding Sasha's comic parallels. The character was absent from the written series, but she has started to follow the story of Holly.
Holly was a resident of Alexandria, and she's the one who led Abraham away from Rosita. After the two fell in love, he was killed. Holly ended up sacrificing herself for the group, in order to try and kill Negan. This plan backfired though, as she wasn't able to succeed and it took the life of another Alexandria resident in the process.
Sasha is definitely looking to get Negan out of the way, but it's likely going to come at a cost.
