Less than a week from Negan's kill being revealed in The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, everyone is tossing out their final theories and claims out about who the victim will be. From Aaron to Maggie to Negan's own man, everyone swears to have the answer.

Today, we're pointing the bat at Eugene.

The most concrete reasoning behind Eugene being among Negan's victims lays in the amount of time and steps he took before concluding his game of eeny-meeny-miny-moe. Looking at the line up head on, Eugene was on the far right. As Negan ended his game with the last two lines, "and you are," and "it," he took several seconds and even more steps. This would indicate that Negan walked from one end of the line up to the other. Considering the villain started out by walking to the viewer's left of the lineup, Rick's right (towards Glenn's end), the theory would indicate Glenn was "and you are," and Eugene was, "it."

Eugene's character arc seemed to have been told to its entirety in the finale. He had sacked up. He had prepare himself to defend himself and was willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for the folks of Alexandria.

One might argue that he has to be around to manufacture the bullets for the war ahead, but he handed over the bullet recipe before rolling solo in the RV. Rick, Carl, and the others in the group are fully capable of reading into Eugene's certainly thorough instructions and figuring out how to execute the manufacturing.

His death would be upsetting, to some more than others, and something Alexandria would rally behind. Abraham, Rosita, and a couple of others would be extremely shaken, as would the audience.

By these standards, Eugene has to be Negan's victim.
