Walking Dead Recap with Monty Python's John Cleese

The Walking Dead season 7 is almost here, guys and gals - and it is going to be a brutal little doozy of event TV, as we finally watch Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) smash one of our beloved (or not so beloved) survivors' heads into mush.

But for those who may not be as religiously into The Walking Dead, there is a benefit to catching up on what's come before. AMC recently aired a great Walking Dead retrospective special, where the cast and crew took us back through the season - but today's recap video is a lot shorter, and a whole lot funnier.

Narrated by Monty Python and all-around comedy icon, John Cleese, this Walking Dead recap is probably one of the best ever at walking the line between actually informing us about events, while still fairly poking fun at the show and all its foibles. It's something that hardcore fans should even be able to laugh at - at least if they're the reasonable type who can admit that The Walking Dead maybe (just maybe) isn't a perfect show at all times. The season 2 recap is concise and funny, and the use of show clips is just wittily on point all the way through. "Never look at the flowers."
