Family Guy Will Air Adam West Tribute During Sunday's Episode

The late Adam West is most famous for playing Batman in the 1960s TV series; however, the younger generations probably know him best from his role as "Mayor Adam West" on Family Guy.

When West passed away last Friday (due to complications from Leukemia), the Family Guy cast and crew were some of the first to honor his legacy and career. However, that immediate reaction wasn't enough, which is why Family Guy, the show, will be including a full tribute to Adam West in Sunday's episode.

EW reports that the tribute plans include the following:

• Re-airing the episode titled "The Dating Game", which heavily features the Mayor Adam West.
• A special tribute card, honoring West, which will be displayed before the episode airs.

The rebroadcast of "The Dating Game" (with special Adam West tribute) will air at 8:30/7:30c on Fox this Sunday, June 18th. As for how the show will handle the loss of its iconic Mayor is a story that will be revealed later on.
