Christmas Eve is a time when a lot of people gather with family to share in treasured traditions and, for many, holiday-inspired entertainment is one of those traditions.

For those looking to get in the spirit in irreverent The Simpsons style, FOX will be broadcasting "The Nightmare After Krustmas" on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24th at 8 p.m./7 p.m. Central. The Christmas-themed episode, which originally aired last year during season 28 of the long-running animated series sees Krusty trying to impress his daughter as they spend Christmas with the Simpsons while Reverend Lovejoy looks for new converts when church attendance plummets. The episode also features the youngest member of the Simpson family, Maggie, as she is haunted by a spooky Christmas toy.

Written and directed by Jeff Westbrook, "The Nightmare After Krustmas" will feature guest voice appearances by Orange is the New Black's Natasha Lyonne as Sophie and comedian Jackie Mason as Rabbi Krustofsky in addition to the regular cast of Dan Castellaneta as Homer Simpson, Julie Kavner as Marge Simpson, Nancy Cartwright as Bart Simpson and Nelson, Yeardley Smith as Lisa Simpson, Hank Azaria as Moe, Harry Shearer as Skinner, Tess MacNeille as Dolph, and Pamela Hayden as Milhouse.

The Simpsons' "The Nightmare After Krustmas" airs tonight at 8/7c on FOX.
